Design Details
The embroidery on the lace of the dress inspired me to create a similar pattern to feature on the wedding invitation. To highlight this, the text of the invitation flows from the pattern, as an extension of the design.
Tudor Place
When your venue is this gorgeous, you need a hand-drawn illustration and a love poem included in your invitation suite. It’s a piece that your guests can treasure, and even frame.
Color
What better way to pay homage to the colors of spring than with handmade, botanically dyed paper?
Figs for placecards?
To keep with the theme of spring and all things fresh and natural, we opted to use figs as place cards (with gold calligraphy, of course).
A cohesive feel…
I pulled design elements from the invitation suite (floral design & vellum) with an untraditional cut to highlight the gorgeous linen napkin and give the fig a cozy home to rest.
